Not a massive game, but for a 1985 platformer, it's pretty darn extensive – 32 levels with some similarities but also loads of secrets to sniff out.
The Flair: E
If you believe the game looks ugly, we dare you go watch how games used to look in 1985. Super Mario Bros graphics, those lively worlds, and that legendary soundtrack are like living relics of video game history.
The Feel: F
Simple, but crazy fun. The mythic mushroom and flower power-ups, the life-ups and how they worked... all add to the amazing formula that made this game a classic.
The Fuel: D
Sweet level design, packed with clever enemies, humor, and sneaky secrets. Wouldn't have minded a bit more variety both in enemies and levels, though.

Conclusions
We've all heard how Super Mario Bros shook up the gaming world, but you gotta play some of those OG games to really get it. It flipped the script in ways that still matter today.
